The candidate is a key member of the US Melanoma Cancer Marketing Team who works with other commercial team members to provide strategic and executional leadership that successfully drives sales growth of Novartis Melanoma/STS (Tafinlar + Mekinist and Votrient STS indication) in a highly competitive market environment. The successful candidate will have a strong external focus, a willingness to maintain current understanding of the changing disease and market place and proven ability to create impactful, innovative non-personal (NPP) strategies and tactics.
Integrate key customer insights with proven digital strategies to drive growth in a competitive marketplace
Lead the development & execution of Melanoma and STS Non-Personal & Patient strategic and tactical planning aligned with portfolio and brand strategic imperatives and in partnership with Digital Strategy, Communications, and Patient Advocacy teams
Lead strategy & execution of Next Gen Marketing for Melanoma and STS, including strong collaboration with the brand team, Business Analytics
Identify insights, key physician and patient segments using market research, competitive intelligence, and understanding of disease areas
Leverage emerging technologies and platforms to engage key stakeholders
Implement non-personal promotion and disease education materials & programming for HCPs and patients
Manage agency partnerships, projects, and related A&P budget

BA/BS required. Advanced degree preferred
Minimum 3 years pharmaceutical experience required including product management, digital strategy, advertising, business analytics or market research
Demonstrated ability to understand complex analytics and create innovative customer-focused strategies and solutions
Strong project management expertise including a thorough understanding of marketing processes
Strong communication skills including strong presentation and interpersonal skills
Proven ability to work effectively in a cross-functional, matrixed organization
Oncology or specialty experience preferred
