Builds and executes business plans to maximize current and future sales opportunities by building business/professional relationships within major teaching hospitals and academic centers, to strategically influence key physicians/residents as champions/advocates of Alcon pharmaceutical products for formulary approval, speakers alliance, and writers of Alcon prescriptions.
Maximize current and future sales opportunities by building business/professional relationships within major teaching hospitals and academic centers to strategically influence key faculty/fellows/residents/students as champions/advocates of Alcon pharmaceutical products for formulary approval, Speakers Alliance and writers of Alcon prescriptions. Maximize Pharmaceutical products sales by identifying key decision makers, establishing relationships & developing Alcon advocates and product users among thought leaders, physician staff, residents, fellows and students at major teaching hospitals and academic institutions. Territory management and sales calls to drive prescription demand among major institutional accounts. Customer responsibility includes major teaching hospitals, academic centers, Ophthalmology/Optometry (and potentially ENT, Allergy, pediatrics & family practice) department heads, faculty, residents, fellows, students and hospital-based pharmacies. Interact and conduct business reviews with Deans, Presidents, Clinic Directors, Faculty and Preceptors to grow Alcon s business in the academic channel Coordination of Speaker Alliance activities with Alcon marketing, MIMs and field sales. Coordination of fellow/resident/student handoffs with field sales Work collaboratively with cross-functional counterparts in Surgical and Vision Care

A minimum of a Bachelor s degree is required. Fluent in English. Extensive sales experience required preferably in Ophthalmology, Optometry and/or vision care. Account Management experience highly preferred and valued. Demonstrated superior business acumen and business planning skills Proven ability to collaborate and work cross-functionally with internal and external partners Possess high achievement drive, self-motivation, integrity and willingness to mentor others Effective problem solving and decision making skills Demonstrated superior interpersonal skills and ability to effectively communicate across diverse audiences Exceptional ability to develop and sustain customer relationships.
