Essential Duties and Responsibilities The position would be involved with several specific projects, including, but not limited to:
Nucleic Acid Isolation
Assist in the DNA/RNA isolation of multiple sample types including cell lines, FFPE tissues, cfDNA and others
Support with the design, development, and sourcing of supplies required for the nucleic acid isolation of the samples
Analytical identification and analysis of rare mutations
Utilize various instrumentation and techniques including but not limited to quantitative PCR (qPCR), droplet digital PCR (ddPCR), and next generation sequencing (NGS) for analysis of the samples
Statistical analysis of large data sets
Support the data collection, organization, and presentation of results.
Database Support and Maintenance
Support Clinical Trial Assay Development efforts by cataloging identified rare mutations

Must currently be pursuing a degree
Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, and Powerpoint)
An ability to work independently yet be part of a team environment
Basic understanding of molecular biology and techniques
Demonstrate good communication skills, both written and verbal
Be able to prioritize and juggle multiple projects
Energy and passion for the work and desire to make a positive contribution
Wet Lab experience including nucleic acid isolation and PCR methodologies highly desired
Experience planning experiments and analyzing results a plus
Keeping and maintaining a lab notebook desired
Internship Training will consist of wet lab techniques, instrumentation, safety, and introduction to Clinical Trial Assay Development and Testing
