The Senior Director, Global Indication Lead (GIL) is responsible for developing and implementing commercial strategy and tactics for Zykadia in ALK+ Non-small Cell Lung Cancer (NSCLC) as well as Taf+Mek Lung indication for BRAF V600 mutations.
Lead and implement comprehensive marketing strategy and tactics that will achieve optimal long term performance across the disease area in terms of market share and product performance.
Develop a launch strategy, for upcoming Zykadia in treatment-na ve indication, in collaboration with global, regional and country marketing teams and execute a successful worldwide launch (approval expected in US/EU in May/June)
Prepare for Taf+Mek Launch in Lung Cancer (Approved in EU in April and US expected in May/June)
Partner with Clinical Development, Market Access and Medical Affairs to generate short and long term strategies and multi-channel tactics via the Integrated Disease Area Product Strategy (IDAPS) process.
Lead and mentor other brand team members
Build relationship with global medical experts and leverage insights collected (e.g., via Ad Boards, Market Resarch) to support launch plan and lifecycle management activities
Identify and showcase global/region/country market penetration efforts through: sharing lessons, experiences and best practice and competitive strategy planning workshops.
Ensure budgets and resources are effectively managed within agreed upon limits and plans are effectively implemented
Partner with Public Relations and Scientific Communications to communicate and educate pivotal data within the Oncology organization and to external stakeholders.
Provide accurate and timely global forecasts within global processes of IDAPS and Strategic Planning
Key Performance Indicators:
Performance of defined indication(s) within a disease area
Measurements of product profitability, sales vs. budget, market share and market share growth for defined compound(s)
Feedback from regions and countries on collaboration, level of service and quality of coordination/communication related to global/regional/country operating model
Feedback from IDAPS and extended teams on collaboration, quality and timing of global deliverables and support to help maximize the disease indications and indications globally
Provide strategic leadership to successfully drive sales growth for approved indications as well as contribute to the development of strategy for future formulations and indications globally.

University degree in Marketing, Medicine, Natural or Pharmaceutical Sciences. An advanced degree in science and/or business preferred (e.g., MD, Pharm. D., PhD., MBA)
10 + years of healthcare operational marketing / product management or related experience (including country-level product management) oncology preferred
Launch experience with new products or major line extensions oncology preferred, multi-country preferred (particularly EU),
Ability to flex style to effectively influence across functions, and senior level stakeholders (ECC, etc.)
Experience in highly competitive and complicated market
Pharmaceutical sales experience a plus with oncology preferred
Ability to work with Oncology/Hematology Medical experts
Comfortable rapidly switching between complex science and commercial concepts, with an ability to bridge between them and build common understanding amongst people on either side
Proven ability to collaborate, operate and influence cross-functionally and cross-culturally
Strong analytical, strategic thinking and project management skills
Strong oral and written communication skills
