This role of Brand Manager EyeCare - Marketing operations provides a strong opportunity for an individual who understands the importance of performance management and operation efficiency, seeks deeper exposure to strategic marketing, and has demonstrated the ability to think strategically and to execute. The role provides visibility to the entire Alcon US Pharmaceutical business and the opportunity to collaborate with and support the brand teams. This individual is responsible for improving marketing operations, standardizing performance reporting, improving business review processes, and supporting the design and track of KPIs to measure the effectiveness of marketing activities, with the goal of improving business performance and informing investments to drive growth.
Support monthly business reporting (incl. spending evolution) and brand business reviews
Partner with S&OP to design and execute sample allocation strategy & facilitate administration
Collaborate with CIC/ISR to optimize process around distribution of samples/co-pay cards in the non called-on physicians
Become the hard activation key contact for the EyeCare portfolio
Systematize the LaunchPad use across the EyeCare portfolio and align with Sales Leadership/Marketing on format/presentation/metrics
Portfolio oversight on key marketing deliverables
Lead the streamlining of promotional materials in the EyeCare portfolio with support from the Brand Leads
Upscaling of IPS & Building Brands the Novartis Way
Developing a systematic approach for Tactical Plan development
Partner with SI&A & proactively anticipate data needs for EyeCare portfolio
Collaborate with Professional Affairs to streamline & optimize congress presence
Identify opportunities to generate RWE across the brands
Develop solutions to implement Enhanced Customer
Engagement programs after Step Change
Identify opportunities to strengthen collaboration with PLS across the EyeCare portfolio
Works closely with sales leadership & has a strong field presence (min 2 days/month) to identify gaps in customer needs and provides solutions to overcome barriers
Identifies cost savings and efficiencies within the system to help return savings to brand budget to invest in unfunded projects

Bachelor s degree in marketing, business, life sciences or related discipline
Fluent in English both spoken and written
2+ years of global/local marketing experience with focus on product/brand management in a pharmaceutical setting. Understanding of Ophthalmology therapeutic area including knowledge of key stakeholders along the continuum of care is preferred
Excellent quantitative abilities and excellent communication skills (written, verbal and presentation) are a must.
Proven ability to use analytical skills and critical thinking to diagnosis business issues and incorporate into development or adjustment of marketing plans to achieve business results in a self-directed manner.
Exceptional use of time management, planning, organizational, selling and negotiation skills.
Demonstrated marketing acumen and business aptitude
High degree of customer focus
Outstanding level of drive, and the ability to juggle multiple projects effectively
