Primary focus will be to:

Design, develop and execute adherence programs that offer high quality interactions with patients and customers.

Drive input to the design and implementation of new programs; bring innovative thinking with practical ways to deliver service offerings for patients and customers.

Lead business review sessions with external partner companies; develop future plans and actions to drive continuous improvement.

Specific responsibilities of the position include:

Program Strategy and Implementation: Works cross-functionally within Patient and Specialty Services, Managed Markets, Brand and related cross functional teams ( ex. Digital Medicines), to understand patient / customer insights and key business objectives . From this, develop adherence program strategy, followed by design / optimization of adherence services, delivery model and implementation of the program.

Implement streamlined and efficient operational processes to provide seamless best in class solutions.

Develop key metrics to assess value of program and through analytics, measure success. Recommend changes based on results.

Establish and lead cross functional team to develop and implement new or improved patient adherence offerings Program Management.

Coordinate with Novartis stakeholders to anticipate events and impact on the business and how it relates to patient services / adherence activities.

Project manage any program implementation through the entire development process (Plan, Design, Build, Launch and Maintain).

Continuously evaluate program processes and provide suggested improvements.

Primary point of contact for account/vendor’s management to support day-to-day operations, managing KPI, contractual SLAs and quality standards.

Coordinate and align other vendor activities which influence program design / processes.

Manage the contract and/or task order discussions with internal and external business partners to ensure proper agreed upon terms are accurately reflected.

Best practice sharing across and Novartis Specialty Services and related Teams for adherence efforts.

Communicates customer insights to internal stakeholders, and engages with them to pursue business opportunities.

Minimum Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree

Fluent in English (oral and written)

Strong and proven management skills

Business partnership and consulting skills

Strong and Proven Program Management Skills Understand overall brand positioning, strategy and role specialty services plays in strategy

Effective Communication Skills including to executive management

Enhanced communication, planning to support and enable translation of brand strategic direction into operational actions

Knowledge regarding pharmacy distribution models and specialty pharmacy capabilities as it relates to biologics, specialty therapeutics, retail drugs and innovative approaches to product distribution Managed markets knowledge understanding formulary position consequences, alternative funding, prior authorizations, appeals etc.

Business/Financial Analytics

Provide input, feedback, insights into reporting metrics. Foster partnership with analytics team

Understanding of the overall specialty services requirements and be able to apply quality assessments/controls to continually improve the operations of existing and future programs, develop clear KPIs
