Physician Remembers: Patients Make Practice
Submitted by MedZilla User

I went to a physician's office to try to call on a "no see" doctor. His receptionist was at lunch, so I sat down in the waiting room, hoping the doctor would walk up front, giving me an opportunity to see him.

A young woman dressed in business clothes walked into the waiting room and sat down. A few minutes later the doctor walked into the reception area, and the young woman walked up to the counter and told the doctor that she needed to see him. He said, "No."

She asked if she could make an appointment, and he said, "No, I don't see people like you." I sat there thinking "I can't believe this is happening" while she and the doctor argued back and forth a bit.

Finally the young woman exclaimed, "But I'm sick!"

The patient was finally given an appointment.
