Job Database Search Hints
- Terms can be grouped with parentheses
- To search for phrases, put them inside quotes
- Example: "Analytical Chemist"
- Try running just ONE or TWO terms first.
- MedZilla is highly FOCUSED - most of the screening is already done for you.
- If you get too many "hits", add more terms, one at a time.
- If you don't put anything between your keywords, they ALL must be present in the job description.
- (Same as putting "and" between your keywords).
- If you put "or" between your keywords, the job description must contain at least one of them.
- The Wildcard is "*"
- (For example: biostatistic* will find biostatistician or biostatistics or biostatistical)
- Your query is read from left to right. Thus "x and y or z" means that "x" must be present with
"y" or "z".
- Hits which contain the exact phrase in the title will be listed first.
- MedZilla can't search for terms that are less than 2 characters long.
- You can apply for jobs right on the job page - you don't need to upload your resume.
HOWEVER -
- If you DO upload your resume, you can easily apply for several positions and send them your MedZilla resume at the same time.
